Music
January 1, 1990
Once upon a time, I was a sullen sixteen year-old armed with a guitar and a keyboard. I wrote an album, and after a lot of time spent learning how to do basic recording, I finally released it a couple years later. I wrote it after my father died, and it’s pretty much the kind of music you’d expect a grieving teenager to write. But at the time it gave me a purpose, a goal to distract myself with, and I’m proud of what I accomplished.
Currently, the demands of college and the realities of apartment living haven’t afforded me much time or the ambiance necessary to record the second batch of songs I had written for my second album. In fact, I rarely get the opportunity to play at all these days. Hopefully one day soon I’ll get around to making album #2; until then, enjoy the videos I made of two songs that will be on that album, or download my first release for free.
